Some examples of conditions where sandtray therapy can be beneficial include nightmares or disturbing dreams, fear of strangers or unfamiliar places, inconsolable crying, irritability, prolonged sadness,  and a decreased ability to communicate with others or perform daily tasks at home, school, or work.

   For Sutter County families of children ages 0-5, including pregnant first-time mothers

   For people who are uninsured or underinsured and not currently receiving mental health services

   This service is offered free of charge through a mini-grant from the Sutter County Children and Families Commission

Family SOUP will be hosting the 3rd annual Yuba City Camp
June 17-21, 2013 at River Valley High School.
During our first 2 camps 48 campers have succeeded in learning to ride a two-wheeled bicycle for the first time!

The camp is run by the national ICan Shine organization, who bring trained staff and specially modified equipment to teach the riders in safety.
Registration for the camp will start in early 2013. We have slots for 40 campers and last year we filled up, so plan to sign up early to reserve your slot.
We are also always in need of volunteers for this very rewarding event. Contact us for more info.
